Hello LinkedIn Friends! My name is Amy Chenoweth, born and raised in Pascagoula, MS on the Gulf Coast. After completing my grade school studies with the Pascagoula School District I spent my first 2 years of college at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. At the time I was also a dance instructor with the Studio of Dance and Gymnastics in Pascagoula. In 2006 I was off to Mississippi State University to study Business. During my studies at Mississippi State I worked at a local daycare around my school schedule and enjoyed watching the children grow and learn moving forward into their bright futures. In 2008 I received my Bachelor's in Business with an emphasis in Marketing. After returning to the coast in 2009 and becoming the Director of Marketing for Scranton's Restaurant and Catering I decided to further my education at William Carey University. In 2011 I graduated with a Masters in Business Administration from William Carey and geared all of my education and focus into the family business. I love working for Scranton's Restaurant and Catering; meeting new people, serving Pascagoula, and bringing innovative ideas to the world of Food Service and Event Planning on the MS Gulf Coast.In January of 2013 my family purchased the Grand Magnolia Ballroom and Suites and decided to throw ourselves into the overnight accommodations and event venue business. Since January 2013, this job has taught me more than I could have imagined. It has been an amazing experience and I am looking forward to continuing my success with this company for my personal benefit but more importantly for the benefit of my community.
