Manage the Illinois State Fair, a premier showcase that generates an $87 million economic impact annually.  Fiscal management of $6.5 million appropriation  Prioritize, delegate, and implement the strategic plan encompassing all activities of the annual event including 8700 competitions, entertainment, agriculture, special attractions, food, motorsports, and governmental agencies Supervise, mentor and lead staff and volunteers Motivate, and cultivate long term partnerships with community and business leaders Initiate and collaborate communication strategies between government agencies, private business, and commercial ventures to amplify visibility Manage public relations program including all forms of advertising and social media Serve as a spokesperson for the statewide event including television and written publication interviews Create and execute branding opportunities for sponsors to maximize exposure Schedule, manage, and promote national touring artists for grandstand entertainment 12 free stages Operations Manager for two National High School Finals Rodeo – the world’s largest rodeo.
