Trained as a green chemist, holding the first Ph.D. in green chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Boston, I have experience as a research scientist, professor and now leading a non-profit organization. My goals are to advance green chemistry throughout the educational pipeline in order to better prepare scientists with the skills to address sustainability through chemistry. At Beyond Benign we empower educators to make transformative change in their teaching and practice by building and supporting a community of green chemistry educators that have the resources, support, and tools they need to bring green chemistry to their teaching and practice.
