Through increased efficiencies my personal sales volume increased from less than $100,000 per year to almost $500,000 per year in less than 3 years. My extensive knowledge and experiences with special events, restaurants, food & beverage increased Vail-Beaver Creek Magazine's advertisers in this market segment by 300% in just 2 years. In 2008 I was instrumental in the company wide implementation of our database system as they created a corporate-wide database to track the sales, production and accounting for their 5 regional publishing companies. I assisted our accountant in the implementation of the sales database for our accounting and invoicing. Implemented website to include online purchasing of tickets and merchandise. Planned and implemented one of the nations most innovative Food and Wine festivals featuring more than 50 wineries and 30 world-class restaurants. Planned and managed the marketing plan, coordination of volunteers and logistics for featured guest chef's for the five day festival.

This statewide destination management company created and sold innovative programs to the hospitality incentive market, efficient transportation systems for national conventions and activity coordination for large and small corporate programs. My main responsibilities were to oversee the final sales, planning, implementation and billing for approximately 100 programs in the Colorado mountain communities each year.

As the Conference Sales Manager I was responsible for booking small groups and weddings for this 90-room full service hotel in Beaver Creek. My duties were split between sales and planning of group events and the day-to-day management of the banquet staff. I was the key onsite manager for all aspects of all groups at this small hotel. I was a key member of the sales team and responsible for Group retention during the transition from a Westin Corporate Hotel to a Westin Franchise Hotel to its current status as the flagship property of the Destination Hotels & Resorts brand. I was promoted to Director of the department in 1992. I was the Delphi administrator for sales, conference services and banquets during our installation and conversion from our manual systems to this integrated program in 1991. We were the Beta sites for Delphi in the introduction of the banquet module and I was the key creator and administrator of all contracts and procedures during the transition to Delphi.
