  • Women In Design And Construction
    Committee Member
Women In Design And Construction Apr 2022 - Jun 2023
    Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
As a Committee Member for Women In Design and Construction (WIDAC), I assisted my fellow committee members in developing, coordinating and facilitating events that brought much-needed conversations to the forefront of our industries. Our roles were seen as 'Event Champions', where, along with hosting the events on the day, we were responsible for connecting with industry peers and leaders, developing content briefs, and developing conversation topics. During my time on the committee, I co-hosted two key events: Vulnerability 'The New Superpower' and WIDACs International Women's Day 2023 Debate on 'Embracing Equity'—both of which involved presenting to diverse audiences from 50 - 350 people, cultivating nuanced conversations, and facilitating Q&A sessions. Being a part of WIDAC was a rewarding experience that grew my confidence in my public speaking, fostering deep connections with my fellow committee members and highlighting the importance of having the right people in the room to facilitate change-making conversations.
  • Montalto
    Administration Manager - Commerical
    Montalto Aug 2019 - Mar 2021
    Red Hill South
The Administration Manager role was created to reflect my central role in the company. It was devised to ensure the optimal performance of the commercial side of the business while continuing to support the efficient operational management of the hospitality and wine sales departments. I managed this role successfully, demonstrating my ability to lead and support the various aspects of the business. Working within both the Marketing and Finance departments, I initiated, researched, designed, and implemented internal projects that either curated a better customer experience or provided efficiencies within the business's management. Examples of such projects include rolling out new POS and EFTPOS systems, developing a new COG formula, introducing accurate stock management systems, and implementing various marketing initiatives. In 2020, I was central to creating the systems and infrastructure of a brick-and-mortar hospitality business into an online takeaway venue. Outside of these projects, my daily responsibilities centred around monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting, managing stock + COGs processes, project and team management, rolling out marketing initiatives (EDMs, Social Media), copywriting, Graphic Design assistance, business-wide systems/processes and wholesale, distribution and export coordination.
  • Montalto
    Administration Manager & Finance Assistant
    Montalto Jun 2018 - Mar 2021
    Red Hill South, Vic
My role developed and grew, reporting to the leadership, marketing and finance teams to undertake broader office managerial roles, coordinating and facilitating cross-departmental successes as the business evolved. I took on greater responsibilities to include managing the admin team, training staff on new processes, assisting in rolling out new systems (inc. an Inventory Management system), managing the financial aspects of the sales process, GL reconciliation, financial report development, co-ordination of export and distribution orders alongside general marketing, e-commerce management and customer experience management.
  • Montalto
    Office Manager
    Montalto Jun 2017 - Jun 2018
    Red Hill South, Vic
Montalto is an award-winning winery and hospitality venue on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. Initially, I was in a 12-month maternity leave role. However, my position quickly blossomed into more, evolving with the understanding and development of my skills. My responsibilities ranged from reception/customer service roles, executive support, booking system management + development, WordPress management, graphic design, financial reconciliation, banking, sales and inventory management.
  • Latitude Group
    Communications Manager
    Latitude Group Dec 2015 - Jun 2017
    Melbourne, Australia
My role as a Public Relations Intern at Latitude Group grew into an account management and PR role. Working alongside the in-house graphic artists, strategic director, creative director, managing direction and account director I was responsible for managing client projects from instigation to final delivery. My role was split into two overlapping aspects, Account Management and Communications. My account management role included tasks such as time management, creative briefing, WIP reports, proposals, fee scheduling, client liaison & management, account management, production sourcing, CMS updates. The communications aspect to my role was associated with her Public Relations expertise. Including copy writing, content creation, social media strategies and updates and event co-ordination.
  • Latitude Group
    Pr & Communications - Internship
    Latitude Group Feb 2015 - Dec 2015
    Prahran, Victoria
In partnership with my Bachelor of Communication at RMIT, I completed a 100 hour Internship at Latitude Group. After completion of the original 100 hour internship, I stayed with the company in a PR & Communications Intern role. My role at Latitude Group was varied, working on website development, content creation, client management, account management, social media strategies and assisting with strategic development. My work within Latitude Group was fast paced and challenging, something that I very much enjoyed about my role. I have picked up skills in InDesign, Streamtime and Word-Press website development. The work was hands on, dealing with briefs, clients, content, strategy and more. Upon graduating I was offered a full-time position within the organisation.
