Sharing my award winning Grant trainer/disseminator techniques for education through Broward Education Foundation is very rewarding because the impact of these actions positively influence thousands. I train educators to utilize a variety of resources to help student achievement. Additionally I connect these facilitators with funding opportunities, which helps to make their curriculum rigorous. Once connected to funding, I coach, charter, and instruct these future grant writers.

For the past several years I have taken the initiative to empower future educators through advising the University of Phoenix of ways to streamline their educational degree seeking students by sharing my expertise in Brain Teaching. In addition, this committee enhances curriculum for future educators by adding real world experiences and rigor to their expectations. This leadership position encourages me to have the mindset that schools are not just for student learning, but are as much for teacher learning.

Mentoring first time teachers or educators that want to renew the National Board journey has become an important collaborative experience for me as a leader and learner. Guiding these individuals through this rigorous process, giving the social and cognitive support necessary for success has influenced my dedication to be an ongoing mentor that gives 110%. This mentorship is a strong union as I recognize an efficient mentor becomes the person's "rock" during this process.

Creating an enthusiastic, open-minded environment is essential for a successful presentation. It was my honor to have the opportunity to choose the presenter at the Idea Expo held at Nova University for teachers, board members, administration, and our own dedicated Superintendent, Mr. Runcie. Speaking to an amazing, innovative group of people to create a positive atmosphere, while sharing insight as to our goals, and encouraging guests to be a part of the presentation was an honor. I feel humbled to have made such a positive impact in the lives of so many educators, as expressed by the enormous amount of positive feedback and scheduled conferences at a variety of schools since this experience.
