I worked to increase the enrollment and diversity of the Human Resources Concentration at CSU while building a sense of community. Recruiting initatives includedd detailed brochures, presentations, emails, social events, and LinkedIn posts to provide information to students and faculty. Additionally, I utilized my strong communication and organization skills to help plan case competitions and the semiannual HR Edge Network meeting. Planning for these events included student and faculty communication and coordination, presentations and facilitating panel discussions, and working with various parties for day-of logistics.

June 2022 -July 2022- I helped prepare for the 10-day program by completing administrative tasks and organizing logistics. I trained five counselors during a three day period using the Counselor Handbook which I helped update. During the program, I mentored 26 high school students from around the world to ensure an inclusive program culture. I assisted students with their business simulation during the day and led safe and entertaining activities in the evenings. All the while, I worked in a counselor team of seven to be adaptive in the ever-changing schedule. Communication was crucial as the counselors and students had came from different backgrounds. January 2023- May 2023- I worked as a Program Assistant to help with the on-boarding of counselors and admission of students. I sat in on counselor interviews, took notes, and answered questions. I completed administrative tasks to aid the Directors with screening and admitting students using Slate, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
