With a keen eye for detail, a need to get my hands dirty, and an uncontrollable “how hard could it be?” mentality, I thrive in reactive, high impact, autonomous environments geared for people focused innovation.For much of my career to date I had the pleasure of building and operating my music and event management business, Meraki Management; working alongside hundreds of Tasmanian musicians, artists, venues and event operators, honing skills in event planning, communication, production, operations and logistics, and business management. “Meraki” means to do your work with love, and working with artistic communities showed me that I could truly love every day of work if surrounded by incredibly hard working and creative people.An industry pivot (thank you, pandemic!) led me to now luckily be deeply immersed in the startup ecosystem in Tasmania, leading Enterprize’s entrepreneurial education programs, and overseeing the growth and development of our coworking spaces, high calibre industry events, and other community building activities at a strategic level across the state, working every day, again, with incredibly hard working and creative people.
