Responsible for managing all projects in HP’s Rancho Cordova, California data center that hosted dedicated infrastructure for BSC’s production and non-production environments.• Managed complex multi-year projects to include:o Implement production & non-production environments composed of HP c7000 enclosures, HP blades, physical & virtual servers, SQL clusters, application clusters, high-availability clusters, F5 load balancers, firewalls, Cisco network switches, NetApp, Citrix, storage arrays.o Upgrade environments composed of ESX clusters, VM servers, IBM frame, LPARs and Oracle clusters. Technology refresh.o Migrate Solaris, Windows & AIX servers off EOL storage arrays & switches. Mainframe.• Managed medium and small projects to include:o Add virtual LANs to the network.o Forklift servers and application from BSC data center to HP data center.o Migrate NetBackup infrastructure from physical servers to appliances. Upgrade NetBackup application and hardware.o Decommissioned hardware to include servers and storage arrays. • Managed cross-functional & multi-country teams. Matrixed organization.
