Responsible for the management of the Art Bank's operations and delivery of its programs: art rental, loans, exhibitions and outreach activities. National Collection of more than 17,000 works of art by contemporary Canadian artists housed in a 35,000 sq. ft facility. Manage a team of 12-15 staff and a budget in excess of $2M.Successful delivery of the following Exhibitions:• Mark the Spot – Exhibition celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Canada Council for the Arts • Constructed Identities -First exhibition to put disability at the heart of the presentation • Thunderstruck: Physical Landscapes – Included artworks from the Art Bank and several loans • Thresholds–Participatory artwork by Michel de Broin, loan from Quartier des spectacles• Open Channels- Canada C3 partner exhibition celebrating the Canada 150 sailing expedition • Awakening- Partner exhibition with the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. Exhibition travelled to UN Headquarters in New York and Geneva and the World Climate Conference in Bonn, Germany. Subsequently installed in Âjagemô.

Was responsible for ensuring the Gallery's activities for the 2017 celebrations unfolded efficiently and smoothly, according to its vision and roadmap. • Managed a team of three Senior Exhibition Managers and an Exhibitions Officer with a portfolio budget in excess of $10M. Included a $7.4M budget for the Canadian and Indigenous Galleries, and a $3.2M budget for the Venice Biennale, the largest exhibition budget to date, and oversight of all aspects of the project. • Responsible for managing the related project budgets, implementing a project management strategy, mitigating risks, documenting progress and reporting regularly.

Was responsible for the management of the Canada Council Art Bank, a national collection of more than 17 000 artworks by contemporary Canadian artists, including business development and outreach activities. • Actively managed a senior portfolio of art rental contracts in Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver. • Successful negotiated Art in the Courtyards in partnership with the PCH to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage, summer 2016. • Project lead for Punctured Landscape exhibition in Âjagemô Gallery at the Canada Council, summer 2016.

Responsible for the business development strategies across three art rental teams that enable the Art Bank to be financially sustainable while managing a team of 8 employees and a client portfolio in excess of $1.2 MProvided consultation services to Canada Council Art Bank clients for the selection of artwork for their offices and public areas with a keen eye and extensive knowledge of contemporary Canadian art. Managed portfolios in Vancouver, Toronto and Ottawa, serving a broad range of clients in the public and private sector including law and accounting firms, real estate management, high tech companies, health associations and senior levels of government. Participated in a number of Society for the Arts in Healthcare symposiums. Specialized knowledge of the value of the integration of visual arts in health care settings and the role art plays in enhancing the healing environment. Experience with large, high-profile installations such as the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade at the Canadian Embassy in Washington.• Successfully developed and implemented Art Bank Exposé, a 3-month outreach and business development initiative at First Canadian Place Gallery in Toronto’s financial district. Included an exhibition of more than 50 artworks and associated programming. • Negotiated a successful outreach initiative at Garrison Petawawa. Including the installation of more than 50 artworks at the Integrated Personnel Support Centre and Joint Personnel Support Unit.

Develop, implement and manage a portfolio of public and private sector clients in Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver.• Managed a portfolio of more than 150 clients and generated 800K in contract revenue on a bi-annual basis, consistently exceeding financial objectives. • Developed and managed a partnership agreement with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade for the Canadian Embassy in Washington. Resulted in a thematic installation of over 50 artworks throughout the Embassy and increased international presence for the Art Bank.

Developed and managed all aspects of exhibition/installation projects from the proposal development phase through to final evaluation including planning, budget control and coordination. Collections managed include: Canadian, Contemporary, European and America, Inuit, Film and Video, Modern and Focus gallery.

Researched and gathered information for marketing and public programming. Scheduled training and management of staff. Responsible for cash systems including daily reports, deposits and attendance records.
