* Postdoctoral researcher interested in all aspects of psychiatric research, especially psychopharmacology* Skills and experience with psychiatric research at all stages – ethical application, project coordination, patient recruitment, clinical assessment, lab procedures, statistical programming * Active contributor to faculty – teaching, improving research culture, promoting diversity, outreachMy current work is focused on using early changes in emotional processing to assess the anti-depressant potential of a 5HT4 agonist and I'm currently recruiting both unmedicated and treatment-resistant depressed patients. My doctoral work was focused on the first longitudinal study of DNA methylation changes (a dynamic epigenetic mechanism) in patients with treatment-resistant schizophrenia who commence clozapine – an antipsychotic prescribed when patients do not show adequate response to other antipsychotics.
