Using digital and print media, and liaising with external vendors and funders, a large portion of this role involved content creation. Other aspects of my role involved planning campaigns, tracking digital URLs for conversion, design and print, providing customer service, and strategic planning for the centre.

BIOPROM was an international Bioeconomy exhibition project hosted by Satrosphere Science Centre and the University of Aberdeen in November 2013. I was responsible for management and organisation of the high quality travelling science exhibition, called MISSION POSSIBLE. My work involved the design, creation, and maintenance of exhibition, which centred on national and local scientific research, as well as the production of interactive workshops and games for the general public, and training of staff. My role also included the coordination of researchers in the accompanying engagement events and science cafes that complemented the innovative and engaging programme. The coordination of staff, volunteers, and speakers over the life of the exhibition as well as the organisation and construction of the exhibition itself and complementing digital interactions, including a virtual reality app integration and online promotion, heavily featured in my day-to day activities. Au Science magazine is a high gloss magazine, printing three times a year, aimed at general interest groups of 17+ years. The magazine distributes around the University of Aberdeen and Aberdeen city, mailing out copies on request. Having secured funding from a local oil and gas inspection company, the magazine also runs science communication seminars and editing workshops, as well as more general launch events.I produced, edited, and managed magazine content for print and online at http://ausm.org.uk — running a team of editors from the University of Aberdeen. Au Science Magazine has been featured on the Scientific American Blog and the Association of British Science Writers website.
