Oversees CareSource's philanthropic giving and community engagement efforts across its markets, working closely with the Foundation CEO, Market Presidents, Government Affairs, key stakeholders and community leaders to align efforts in health, social and economic issues. Assess trends in philanthropy and emerging issues, and implement best practices as needed. Collaborates with Corporate Communications to share internally and externally CareSource's community priorities and progress on multiple platforms, and establish brand opportunities for strategic CSR leadership.

Managed CareSource Foundation Operations in collaboration with the Foundation Vice President and Community Relations Manager, including identifying best practices, developing new processes and implementing solutions to the foundation’s charitable giving programs. Oversaw the design, development, training and maintenance of the CareSource Foundation online grants management platform used to deliver streamlined administration and evaluation of all charitable investments. Responsible for reviewing grants, processing payments to nonprofits and working with organizations to ensure completion of grant reports. Worked side-by-side with the Community Relations Manager on CareSource’s community engagement strategies, including C-suite and senior leader community engagement activities, and employee engagement.

Supported CareSource’s Chief Administrative Officer and Foundation Vice President’s in performing a wide range of program management activities, including working with senior leaders and functional managers, nonprofit agencies and contractors concerning preparation of technical material, management presentations to the Foundation Board of Trustees. Planned/prepared logistics and other material in support of both Board and Executive meetings, minutes, agendas, and compilation of briefings. Assisted in the development of milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation, staff coordination and decision documentation preparation. Implemented documentation reviews and maintained monthly expenses, as well as any special projects as needed.
