As the CEO of New Life Mission, I lead a dynamic team working with mothers who – through a variety of circumstances – have experienced homelessness and are starting a new chapter in this transformational housing program. In a Christ-centered environment, we equip homeless women to transform their families for generations. It is a sewing center that serves as a sanctuary of hope, healing and creativity. Our goals are to Empower, Equip and give the women freedom to Create.EMPOWER: Supported and empowered in a loving environment, our students learn to heal from trauma and find joy and peace within the walls of our sewing center.EQUIP: Our students are equipped with valuable employment and life skills. From sewing with recycled materials to growing into leadership roles, The Transformed Shop offers many opportunities. CREATE: Women are encouraged and inspired to create with their hands.
