Working in an agile environment using Scrum and Kanban methodology, I was responsible for all system test activities, for one of the world's leading distance learning organisations, across student websites and back-end systems. Key achievements in this role include:• Delivery of a new multi-million pound website, utilising Kentico Content management system and HTML, to deliver an enhanced ‘enquirer experience’ for prospective students. • Delivering the capability and training for OU Marketing teams to create individual marketing campaign landing pages directly within the new website.• Delivering a streamlined e2e system process for students applying for courses using a student loan. Implementing an automated backend batch process, on receipt of data from the Student Loans Company, resulting in the majority of loans being processed much quicker and without manual intervention. • Responsible for all testing in each sprint iteration, including: system testing, integration, SOA, XML, installability, browser compatibility and regression testing.• Recognised for 'outstanding delivery' within IT, I provided test support for deployment activities to Live, release level smoke testing as well as being a single point of contact to SIT and UAT.• Using Team Foundation Server and Visual Studio 2013 to manage progress of all sprint work and defect management, and Microsoft Test Manager for all test preparation & execution activity.

Leading the User Acceptance Testing and Live Proving test phases across a diverse range of projects:(1) A programme to deliver Strategic Telephony infrastructure for Barclaycard. Testing scope included:* Delivery of the new voice and screen recording technology, including call playback and quality monitoring functionality, which aligns with regulatory and operational guidelines.* Migration of approx. 4000 UK and Offshore based colleagues, to a new citrix platform* Delivery of a new Outbound dialler and agent desktop to UK and Offshore based colleagues(2) A Fraud focussed project within the Business Transformation Programme aimed at delivering strategic tools for human-centric workflow. Testing scope included:* Delivering the ability for customers to dispute fraudulent transactions online through MyBarclaycard, encouraging customers to use a self service, paperless process.* Allowing MyBarclaycard customers to view historical statements and transactions on closed, transferred or blocked accounts.(3) Delivery of an Interactive Voice Response telephone service for Barclaycard Global Commercial customers. Enabling reduced handling times, customer self service, a stricter ID&V process to ensure consistent customer verification, and providing Commercial customers with a high quality experience.

Leading a team within the Life, Pensions & Investment Division responsible for System Acceptance Testing of specific applications. Ensuring the completion of test component project deliverables within approved cost and time parameters, and driving forward the resolution of defects, missing build components and other issues that could impact upon the test phases or implementation.
