Amy has a vested personal interest in helping her clients. Quality legal representation is built on mutual respect, and Amy ensures that trust develops by treating each inquiry with genuine empathy and respect. She recognizes the importance of understanding each individual client’s story before analyzing the legal case. Part of what defines quality legal representation is trust, and hearing the concerns of the individual client is where the process of building trust starts for Amy. Her empathy and desire to provide exceptional representation, particularly when the odds are stacked against an individual, defines her work. Amy’s drive is personal, too. Her experience with a sibling’s traumatic brain injury, resulting from an auto collision, is a significant part of what motivates her as an attorney. She joined the team at Ogborn Mihm LLP specifically to be part of a firm that is dedicated to helping people. Amy specializes in assisting clients who have suffered traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and orthopedic injuries. Besides compassionate and personal legal representation, Amy has been recognized for an extraordinary commitment to excellence in her work. Amy N. Rogers earned her J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law, where she graduated with honors. Amy’s various academic distinctions include Order of the Barristers, a CALI award in Pre-Trial Litigation, and Pro Bono recognition. During law school, Amy participated in the WVU Immigration Law Clinic, where she assisted multiple clients in obtaining political asylum, and successfully briefed and appealed a case through the Seventh Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. Also while studying at WVU, she earned a coveted spot on both the moot court National Team and the Jessup International Law moot court team. Amy competed in the annual WVU Law Lugar Trial Competition, where she earned first place. Clients and colleagues attest to Amy’s strong work ethic and core set of values, traits that she traces to her humble roots in West Virginia and are at the foundation of her present career accomplishments as a practicing attorney.Amy is licensed to practice in Colorado and she is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Colorado Trial Lawyer Association, and the Women’s Trial Lawyers Network. She is currently serving her second term on the Young Professionals Advisory Board for the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce. In her personal time, she values spending time with friends and family and traveling.
