Achievements (January-December 2022): (Under construction)Achievements (January-December 2021):Created seven (7) new collaborations for El Puente with people and organizations working towards a climate justice future.Had a meeting with the U.S. Climate Negotiators and the office of the U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate to discuss the outcomes we expected for COP26.Participated in the 26th Conference of the Parties (COP26) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.Led sixteen (16) advocacy efforts to promote the implementation of climate and energy policies.Developed twelve (12) educational materials on climate change and energy.Coordinated thirty five (35) communications to the press (press releases, radio and TV) to highlight our views on privatization of the electric system in Puerto Rico, liquified natural gas and the energy transformation for Puerto Rico.Offered 2 capacity-building training on advocacy to students of the UPR-Medical Science Campus.Co-designed the 'Exchange your lightbulbs' initiative to promote a better understanding of the energy transformation proposal of Queremos Sol.Achievements (July-December 2020): Featured in a number of press releases denouncing the contradictory actions from the Government of Puerto Rico towards climate policies.Served as a forum moderator and interviewer for various events related to topics such as liquified natural gas (LNG), renewables; climate change and the health and biodiversity.Interviewed by various radio stations to discuss energy related issues.Co-lead the questions table in the Energy Forum to the Puerto Rico Governorship Candidates.Contributed in the dialogues for the Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) to build a US National PlanAccepted as an Ambassador for the Island Innovation Program for 2021

Administrative: -Composing, proof-reading and typing of correspondence, MEMOs, check requests, minutes and other documents.-Manage large amounts of information, including creating and editing simple databases, inputting data, retrieving specific records, and creating reports to communicate the information.Human Resources-Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software. -Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.-Assist the Director in hiring employees and process hiring-related paperwork.-Maintain current knowledge of local employment laws, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), and other related laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).-Schedule or conduct new employee orientations. Programmatic-Preparation, coordination and follow up of Director related meetings, events, presentations and trips.-Leading, editing and contributing to organizational newsletters, calendars and other communications.-Collaborating with other staff to monitor/edit content on El Puente ELAC’s and other social network platforms.-Served as a liaison between El Puente and other environmental and social organizations. Fiscal -Handle the solicitation and disbursement of funds for the day to day operations of the organization (including monthly payments, vendor contracts, replenishing of program materials, office supplies, etc) -Complete monthly bank reports, petty cash reports and reimbursement reports. -Serve as liaison between the fiscal department and administrative department of NY offices. -Follow-up with vendor’s payments and maintain important tax information up to date.

Analyzed and wrote a document about hazards mitigation plans for the watershed of the SanJuan Bay Estuary.▪ Wrote a progress report regarding the actions of the organization’s ComprehensiveConservation and Management Plan that have been completed in the fiscal year 2017-2018.▪ Updated the online Tracking System with the completed actions to maintain the publicinformed of the organization’s activities.▪ Reviewed and evaluated RFP-web design and development to recommend a company toupdate the organization’s website.▪ Created a climate change toolbox for educators using Puerto Rico’s Department of Educationstandards.▪ Wrote a public comment for the climate mitigation and adaptation bill (PS773) and for theCommunity Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery.▪ Analyzed and evaluated five proposals for the Community Thrive Challenge second phase.
