Responsible for management and operations of compliance services within the Architecture & Construction Services function of the department. This includes ensuring compliance with environmental reviews, reviews related to historic preservation, Davis Bacon, Section 3, and subsidy layering reviews.• Determine level of environmental review record using HUD 24 CRF Part 58 Review Guidelines.• Complete required environmental review record documentation and reports required by HUD for HOME, National Housing Trust Fund, Risk Share, and other related programs to ensure compliance.• Provide technical assistance and review of O&M manuals regarding asbestos, lead-based paint• regulations, radon, and removal or mitigation procedures of high-risk findings.

Responsible for ongoing environmental reviews for multi-family finance department projects.

Oversaw the day to day administration of HUD funded programs such as a First Time Homebuyer Program, Continuum of Care for Kane County, and the County's Lead Based Paint Hazard Control Program. Managed contractors, wrote bid specifications, worked with consultants involved with the Continuum of Care, lead contact person for the continuum of care, developed policy and procedures for programs, HUD reporting, and environmental reviews, wrote mortgages and involved in closings.

Responsible for the day to day implementation of the program, monitoring, pay requests and environmental reviews. Evaluate applications for funding and approval. Report to the City Council. Prepare the five year Consolidated Plan, the Annual Action Plan and the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report. Assisted in the development and structuring of programs and grants.

Managed the programmatic and operational functions of the Community Development Department. Compiled, analyzed and recorded program data for reporting to HUD and the County Board. Presented information and materials to Executive Committee, HOME Advisory Group, County Board and the public. Assisted in the development and structuring of programs and grants. Responsible for every project undertaken by the Community Development Department. Supervised Administrative Assistant and three Project Coordinators.
