Amy Renz is a courageous leader and advocate within the pet food industry. In 2009 she envisioned a planet with thriving companion animals, homes for the homeless ones, and respect for all beings; then she built a company committed to that purpose. Today Renz steers Goodness Gracious on its mission to craft and deliver human grade, nutritionally superior, species appropriate, whole food diets and treats for pets in a way that improves our connection to the planet and each other. How does Goodness Gracious do that? It uses ethically sourced, sustainably harvested ingredients; green-energy on a path to net zero; less plastic, zero Styrofoam and more compostable materials; a vibrant culture of inclusion that celebrates 100% diversity; and a charitable give-back to community animal causes amounting to 51% of its profits. She writes and speaks about good nutrition, harmful pet food industry shenanigans, holistic health, and the Goodness Gracious brand. And for fun? Renz is Mama to a family of twenty paws – three Forever Dogs and currently two Fosters. She is a seven-time Marathoner, yoga junkie, cross fit athlete, and slalom water skier, who considers her biggest strength her indomitable spirit.
