In this position I am working in HUDs Recapitalization office on the Green and Resilient Retrofit Program (GRRP). This program, enabled by the Inflation Reduction Act, provides funding for direct loans and grants to fund projects of eligible HUD-assisted multifamily properties that:-Improve energy efficiency or water efficiency-Enhance indoor air quality or sustainability -Implement the use of zero-emission electricity generation, low-emission building materials or processes, energy storage, or building electrification strategies-Address climate resilience

I help clients find pathways to reaching sustainability targets including decarbonization, vehicle electrification, and zero energy design.

● Created and served as the Chairperson for a Bicycle Advisory Committee to address equity concerns and influence policy to make bicycle commuters feel safer. ● Facilitated a commuting survey with a response rate of 8.3K (23% of campus students, staff, and faculty) to collect data that can be utilized in policy work and university-wide planning on GHG emissions.● Designed and conducted a study on EV charger utilization rates to create policy guidelines for EV infrastructure on campus. ● Collaborated to create a report on scope 3 emissions related to faculty and staff travel, including policy recommendations to assist the university in achieving carbon neutrality commitments. ● Influenced future architectural developments on campus utilizing LEED certification.
