Undertaking the Paperless Initiative wherein archived paper files (dating as far back to the creation of EPCHC from 1979) are scanned into the database system and appropriately filed for future reference and public records requests. I helped complete the disposition of over 15 cubic feet of paper documents that were scanned and uploaded into the digital database for both future archival use and public records requests.Assisting wetland delineations of properties across the county using the guidelines set by Florida Administrative Code Chapter 62-340. Plant identification was key to learn and perform proper FDEL tests. Assisting property inspections for As-Builts, compliance inspections, mitigation follow-ups.Shadowed the water department and conducted surface water sampling of the Hillsborough River and Little Manatee River.

Greater Orlando

As an intern with CFTOD, my main role was performing weekly quality control audits of the 40 miles and 8 buildings of contractual landscaping. I used ArcMap in the field to check boundaries discerning the differences between Public and Private landscaping contracts to accurately report quality of work. Weekly ride along as recaps and updates with the point of contact for the landscaping contract were conducted with my supervisor and Facilities Manager, Jessie Burns. My other duties included assisting the Facilities Manager with various tasks (For example, the creation of the yearly reported usage by the different landscaping companies and creating a log of the reported trash, and the litter collected and disposed of by contracts).Part of my experiences included shadowing different departments at CFTOD, such as Permitting, Building Inspection, the environmental lab's Water Quality team, Planning and Engineering weirs and construction monitoring, Parking Facilities, Irrigation.
