About Amy Paul

I am a storyteller and fundraiser who has been doing social impact work for over 15 years. I believe that getting the narrative right helps advance a better world. In a noisy world, I know that clear, compelling communications can inspire leaders and teams, secure funding, and get the public to take action.I bring experience as a Board Member, department director, consultant, and community organizer. I know what it takes to build trust and sustainability with directly impacted stakeholders and long-term partners.Outside the 9-5, I founded The People's Walking Tour, an immigration-themed experience through the backstreets of Jackson Heights, Queens, one of the most diverse zip codes in the country. I also co-curated Queens Writers Resist, a platform where artists shared resistance stories through poetry, fiction, and song. And, I produced the Domestic Worker Theater Project, performances that highlighted the struggles of labor, immigration, and gender, told through first-hand testimonials on the stage. I am passionate about experimentation and out-of-the-box experiences as a vehicle for audience engagement.

Listed skills include Nonprofits, Fundraising, Grant Writing, Community Outreach, and 31 others.
