Hi there! I’m Amy, and I'm currently working as a Career Coach at AMS Talent Lab, providing support to people from different backgrounds in changing their careers. I really enjoy working with people and being able to use my background in psychology to help people find jobs they love.In the past I've volunteered for organisations such as Shout, Beat Eating Disorders and Eating Disorders Association Northern Ireland, gaining valuable experience in advocacy and active listening. I've also worked on the NSPCC Helpline, completing training courses in domestic abuse, forced marriage, allyship, and safeguarding in faith communities. Helping others grow and succeed has always been one of my core motivators and I love being able to bring this to my career coaching role.Previously, I worked as a freelance barista at events like Queens Tennis and London Fashion Week. These experiences taught me the importance of building strong relationships (very quickly!) and delivering excellent customer service. Although challenging at times, I loved working across different locations and meeting new people everyday - there was never a dull moment!In my spare time I keep busy with freelance cat-sitting, running, going to gigs, and crocheting.
