I closely supported the Education & Training team in developing NGSS-aligned science curriculum in California. I provide direct support to formal and informal educators statewide in program training and implementation, specializing in supporting and strengthening our non-traditional and out-of-school time partnerships and offerings.

During the summer in this position, I had the opportunity to counsel overnight sessions of teenagers in a program focused on leadership development, service, and outreach. I regularly facilitated leadership development programs and team building initiatives for a diverse group of clients. Additionally, I had the opportunity to facilitate many recreational activities such as surf lessons, the climbing wall, and archery while constantly providing exemplary customer service.

In this position, I taught standards-based environmental science lessons to 5th and 6th grade students in outdoor environments. I was responsible for the physical, and emotional safety of diverse groups of students while providing overnight supervision and management in a cabin environment.
