I lead a team of Security Engineers who partner deeply with the company's engineering org to secure Linkedin's Infrastructure and the various platforms that power the world's largest professional network. I am responsible for setting the team's strategy and execution plan to effectively identify and articulate risks, provide practical security solutions to ensure the security as well as mitigate risks across our Data Platforms and Infrastructure.

I worked with architects, engineers and site reliability engineers across the organization to secure LinkedIn's large scale data infrastructure and harden our clients, servers, and networks. My focus was on securing our CI/CD pipeline and the developer ecosystem to proactively identify risks and develop solutions to mitigate security risks and protect our members' privacy. My responsibilities include defining best practices and security policies as well as setting security requirements and overseeing compliance to standards and operational practices.

I work in the Cloud-Data Solutions team, with the Cloud 'Paranoid'.• Performed security architecture reviews, penetration testing of in-house as well as third-party developed applications• Performed annual security review for Yahoo! Video Platform Edge Services (ATLAS). Discovered and helped remediate security issues such as insufficient data validation, confidential data exposure and weak cryptographic primitives. • Implemented an access control checker that alerts for role violation of hosts in lists based on their security privileges • Developed a utility in Java to convert a native Yahoo! Data format to Hadoop Sequence files on the Grid to be able to ingest Yahoo! User logs into HDFS and run MapReduce jobs on them.• Implemented Pig jobs to query and parse through the data.
