I'm a registered intern counselor at the University of Florida, dedicated to helping individuals on their healing journeys. I focus on creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel safe to explore their emotions and experiences. My approach is rooted in Trauma-Focused therapy, blending Internal Family Systems (IFS) with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as my primary interventions. This combination allows me to address trauma at a deeper level and help clients reconnect with themselves and their unique stories.I believe in the power of empathy and connection, tailoring my sessions to meet each client's specific needs. Whether through talk therapy or EMDR, I aim to foster a calm, cozy environment where individuals can feel understood and empowered to heal. My goal is to help clients build resilience and embrace a renewed sense of hope.Outside of work, I stay active with regular workouts, love watching movies, and find peace in the outdoors. Spending time with loved ones is important to me, as I value strong, supportive relationships just as much in my personal life as I do in my work with clients.I'm committed to compassionate care and personal growth, and I look forward to walking alongside clients as they navigate their healing process.
