Provide technical assistance to agencies on an international basis in the area of serving offenders with challenging behaviors in the community. Additional technical assistance on developing micro-enterprise businesses and employment opportunities for individuals with challenging behaviors.

Employment Services to Individuals with disabilities

Provide housing and community supports to individuals comming out of the correctional system.

6/1/2007 – 12/31/07 Responsible for developing a residential program for individuals with disabilities coming out of state institutions. Recruitment and supervision of all staff. Participate in planning and implementation of all state required support plans.

Develop employment opportunities for people in the community that are in the Community Protection program. Assess skills and risk factor in the community. Contacting employers, providing offense disclosure, developing positive behavior support plans for maximum client success. Provide line of sight supervision for individuals in Community Protection.

Provide case management, and job development for individuals with challenging behaviors through the Community Protection Program. Recommended positive behavior support plans for clients, including working with therapists to ensure clear communication and success in the community. Developed agency policy regarding services for the Community Protection program and developed training for the agency working with this population. Supervised up to thirteen staff and was responsible for training staff in the areas of deviancy cycles and risk factors while providing line of sight supervision.
