I am currently a second year student at San Jose State University who has the goal and aspirations of becoming a labor and delivery nurse. I am currently working towards this goal of mine by applying to the San Jose State University Nursing Program for Spring 2022. Ever since I was young working in the medical field has always been an interest of mine. I think it became especially evident to me that I wanted to specifically major in nursing after I took an anatomy course in high school that taught me in a hands on manner about CPR and IV's. Additionally, I have always wanted to help others in any way possible and I know that by working in this field, it will allow me to do so. Not only that, but learning about the human body and how the body works has always been super interesting to me because there is so much occurring in the human body every second but it is not something that you really think about.Aside from being a full time student at San Jose State University , I also work part time at the fast food restaurant In-N-Out Burgers. When I am not studying or working, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, going hiking, watching Netflix, shopping, painting, and knitting.
