About Ana Sofia Pinho

Ana Sofia Pinho concluded the Integrated Masters in Bioengineering in November of 2020 by Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (FEUP) and Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar (ICBAS). After working as a research fellow (MSc) at Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde (i3S) in various projects - from urinary catheters coatings to lipid nanoparticles and ex vivo skin models - she is currently a PhD student from the Doctoral Program in Biomedical Sciences at ICBAS developing her project at i3S and University of Copenhagen.She is passionate about the areas of nanotechnology and biomaterials to fight infection caused by microorganisms.
