I have completed AAPC accredited courses in medical coding, and passed my Certified Professional Coding (CPC) exam in November of 2013. I have extensive knowledge and experience in insurance policies and regulations, denials and follow-up on unpaid claims. I began medical coding for hospital-based physicians in the radiology department and also the emergency department assigning the E/M Levels, CPT codes, ICD-9 codes and modifiers. I have coded for the orthopedic department and have worked on the follow up for coding denials also.I am ICD-10 certified and currently working as a medical coding auditor for HCC diagnosis coding. I am very excited to continue to grow and learn more in the medical coding field. I am a very fast learner and very dedicated and excited to take my career to the next level!
