People at my past job wanted fast service and to get out, but at Jamba Juice I found it was more values to build connections with regulars and converse with customers. I also had more responsibility at Jamba Juice since we were expected to be able to solve problems without a Managers approval.

We had a goal of encouraging focused interactions with our peers and planning for high achievement in our futures, in this program, we are provided with opportunities to be prepared for the professional world

I gained a lot of important experience during my time at chipotle as maintained high standards of customer service during fast-paced and timed conditions, communicated clearly to coworkers and management, handled currency and credit transactions quickly and accurately, resolved complaints promptly and professionally, and took initiative to find extra tasks when scheduled duties were completed

This is a competition where students are given the opportunity to take their classroom skills further. In engineering class, I learned about robotics and in the competition, I worked with my partner to build our own robot and compete against others in our region. I was elected to be the leader of my school's team to be a resource for other groups.

As a volunteer, I coached the kids in smaller groups where we were responsible for the kids for that activity. With my running experience, I coached and encouraged them. Sometimes I had to get creative with the activities when kids decided they were done for the day. With the other volunteers, I problem-solved and adapted to what worked and didn't.

Working in a retail setting, being a leader in my community, and making decisions as a group from a young age has provided me with foundations in social management, money management, and people skills. I have organized events, set goals, and been involved in group decision-making.
