Reporting to the general manager, with similar responsibilities to the ones in the previous function but for specific brands of products with and added market value (differentiated products with increased profit margin), and in addition:• Promotion and development of new and specific solutions with the construction promoters that could strongly influence sales; • Managing and training a team of regional product managers;• Market analysis to define new products and approaches;• Product information and project specifications for clients and designers.

Quality assurance and production control manager of nearly thirty ready-mix concrete and mortars plants, active member of the board meetings, running a team of more than thirty reports and reporting to the general manager:• Purchasing and Strategic Procurement: strategic plan development, analysis and selection of suppliers and raw-materials, performance specification, price and contract terms negotiation, validation, monitoring and evaluation based on criteria definition; cost-benefit analysis; • Raw materials continuous cost tracking and optimization: KPIs monthly tracking; action plans design for improvements; • Customer handling and relationship: advice and assistance pre and post-sale and Claims Management;• Products Mix design Management and R&D; • Management of Products Industrial Implementation and operations set-up;• Recruiting, Training and Technical supervision;• Portuguese member in the research centre of Lafarge in Lyon; • Implementation and design of quality control procedures for ISO 9001 quality system ; • Internal Auditing and supervision for external audits (ISO 9001).
