In this role, I focused on data analysis and presentation for the UBC Opera Project. I built multiple databases of combined neuropsychological and neuroimaging data and then analyzed that data in SPSS (descriptive & inferential statistics). I was also involved with structural and resting state MRI data pre-processing, analysis, and interpretation, as well.

I led a passionate executive team of over 40 people, coordinating roles and program components as well as managing potentially competing priorities between members and co-chairs of URO’s five committees. My second honours project, in my final year of university, focused on the nature of bilingual infants' early word representations. I was deeply involved in all aspects of this project, beginning with project design and participant recruitment, to data collection, coding, and analysis. I contributed many dedicated hours every week to ensure this study.

As an extension of my honours research project, I was one of two dedicated research assistants working on coding infant eye gaze behaviour during a language discrimination task. My meticulous, well-organized coding allowed me to complete over 40 videos over the course of a summer, while also assisting in other aspects of the research project.

Throughout my third year, I contributed to various aspects of a large research project on the impact of bilingualism on executive functioning, including participant recruitment, running experiments, and data analysis. A component of this project formed the basis for my honours thesis, the results of which I presented at multiple research conferences.
