I am set to graduate from the University of Iowa in May of 2025. I am working to get my B.S. in Sport and Recreation Management with a certificate in Sustainability. Within my major, I have a concentration in business. I am also a member of the University of Iowa's D1 crew team. I have always loved sports, and being a D1 athlete has only encouraged my dream of working in sports once I graduate. I have worked multiple customer service jobs which included working at Target and hosting at a restaurant called Soba. These jobs have allowed me to develop skills that benefit me when working with other people and getting jobs done efficiently.Although I'm from Pittsburgh, I chose to attend the University of Iowa because of the rowing team. I have been involved in rowing since I was 13 years old and I have dedicated a lot of my time and effort to it. I am a two-time captain of the team and have been a varsity coxswain all four years that I have been on the team. I am also a 2-time recipient of the BIG 10's Boat of the Week award. I am very grateful for the opportunities that have been presented to me because of the sport and look forward to seeing it through until I graduate. Starting in the spring of 2024, I will be doing a marketing internship with Unbreakable Female Athlete. UFA is an apparel brand that works to highlight female athletes and their accomplishments. I will be sending emails to different companies and organizations for partnerships, assisting in advertising, preparing promotional presentations, creating email campaigns, and much more. I am very excited and grateful for the opportunity to work with UFA! In addition to working with UFA, I worked with Three Rivers Rowing Association over the summer of 2024 to advise them and help them improve their social media marketing. This opportunity gave me amazing experience within the sports-marketing field. When I took the Clifton Strengths Assessment, I learned that my strengths are competition, adaptability, consistency, activator, and harmony.
