• Responsible for semi-annual royalty statements and payments due to authors & agents.• Preparation of Sub-right Income and expense schedule with full details and following with income and expense posting.• Preparation of documents for foreign royalty payments -Certification of the royalty calculation as per the clauses, Form A2, Form 15CB and Form 15CA and other legal bank documents as required from time to time.• Preparation of Form 10 CCD and Statement of accounts and other certificates.• Providing monthly TDS details to tax consultant and other detailed information at the time of filing of TDS Return.• Responsible during internal or statutory audit for the various reports for example, TDS reconciliation with Form 26 AS, Advance paid to author and agents, royalty calculations, Stale cheque, Income in foreign currency (Royalty), payments in foreign currency (Royalty),Sub right Income and Expense, Other information and data support for the audits and budgets• Responsible for the correspondence with the authors and publishers via mails and letters. • Oversee the ongoing review and analysis of royalty statements and payments; ensure all discrepancies and variances are addressed and reconciled, including the reconciliation of royalty statement data to the company’s financial statements.• Maintenance of royalty master module and updating payment details in royalty file.• Actively involved in resolving miscellaneous issues related to royalty and others during the bank reconciliation.• Coordination with editorial and production department.• Involved in software migration process- Navision to Bookmaster (TMS)

I have successfully completed my company secretary internship with NCS Pearson along with the project given on Section 297 & 210 of the companies Act, 1956. During my internship, I have gained experience in Internal and Statutory audit and ensuring integrity of all the reported financial statements. Being in profile of CS Intern, I got exposure in legal ( Deeds & Agreements) secretarial ( Drafting of minutes, maintenance of statutory register & filing of E- Forms), Co-ordination with Registrar of Companies,Local Authorities and Banks.
