AES Gold is a set of Operational Excellence Processes /tools introduced by Bombardier to meet its business objectives, it includes various processes like Balanced score Card, 5 S, Communications Systems, Problem Solving Techniques, performance metrics to capture Customer and Employee Satisfaction, Productivity etc.* Managing Aircraft Design Projects for Bombardier Aerospace for their New Product Development and Core Engineering Sections like Experimental Design and Testing, Test Article Design (Composite), Ground/System/ Flight testing. * Am presently tasked to improve competency in Composite Design and Tools like FiberSIM.* Involved in Business Development leveraging my experience and knowledge in Indian Aerospace and Defence- Am exposed to Six Sigma and Agile Project Management Techniques.- Trained 'Program Manager' by ESI International, and certified by The George Washington University, Washington DC.

- Controlled all Maintenance and Logistics issues of ten aircraft fleet viz. Jaguar, MiG 29, Avro, Boeing, Dornier, Embraer, Cheetah, Chetak, ALH and Streak Shadow Microlite aircraft. - Monitored and implemented measures to ensure operational readiness, improved serviceability and improved flight/maintenance safety. - Analysed all aircraft accidents/incident and suggested measures to prevent recurrence and ensured implementation of the same.- Conducted quality audits of flight/maintenance safety critical areas at operating units and inspected/guided units for improving operational efficiency.- Led a team to study cases of corrosion on IAF assets in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra regions. The recommendations made have become part of IAF's strategy to combat Corrosion.Achievements- Was single point contact for coordinating all maintenance and logistics issues whilst posted at Command Headquarters for ensuring the IAF's participation in the first ever overseas International Exercise with Foreign Airforces outside India. Awarded Commendation by AOC-in-C, HQ WAC (medal) for efficient conduct of the exercise.- Played a key role in the formulation of an innovative logistic support (spare pool package) by M/s Embraer. Underwent a Techno-Logistic Managers course at Embraer Factory in Brasil.- The presentations and reports on corrosion studies have been implemented by IAF. A chapter in corrosion prevention for inclusion in IAF's Aircraft Maintenance Manual is in the process of being issued as IAFs policy. Was awarded the second Commendation by AOC-in-C, HQ SWAC (medal) for this effort.

- Led a team of four Officers and over two hundred technicians in providing maintenance and logistics support for a full Squadron of Jaguar ac. This required efficient management of men, resources and close coordination with various agencies to ensure high state of readiness of Aircraft and Weapon Systems under stressful conditions.Achievements- Successfully planned and executed participation of Squadron in the second International Exercise involving Jaguar aircraft in Singapore. Was appreciated by Officers of Republic of Singapore Airforce for ensuring best tarmac practices. Innovative measures were adopted to achieve zero Oil/Fuel spillage on tarmac.- Achieved Zero incidence of accidents/ incidents and high serviceability of aircraft and systems attained.- Led a team of seventy technicians who successfully built up four Jaguar aircrafts with over seven hundred components, within a record period of two months, to meet operational ends.

- Volunteered for Aircrew duties as flight engineer on Russian Aircraft AN 32. Participated in critical operations viz Op Parakram, Bhuj Earthquake and other classified special missions.- As Instructor in Flight Engineers Training School, taught Aerodynamics, Propulsion and Aircraft Systems to ab-initio trainees.Achievements- Awarded Category 'A' Flight Engineer (highest professional qualification) (medal) and have over 1000 Hrs of Flying experience on Medium Lift Transport Aircraft.- Established Flight Engineers School at a new location and successfully trained four batches of Flight Engineers Maintenance Safety and Inspection Officer:- Inspected and Identified critical areas in the bases maintenance and logistics set up and implemented concrete measures for prevention of accidents/incidents.Officer in Charge of Transportation:- Handled deployment and maintenance of a fleet of over 100 common user and specialist vehicles of a major airbase, which included Crash Fire Tenders, Main Runway Sweepers and Cranes of different capacities.
