Anas is a name that symbolizes a person who brings joy and peace of mind, capable of alleviating fears and worries. I hail from Colombo Central and received my education at Hameed Al Husseinie College, the first Muslim Boys School in Sri Lanka. Raised by a single mother, I am currently pursuing the Chartered Qualification in Human Resources Management at the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management SL. I have also completed an Advanced Certificate program in Labour Law & Industrial Relations awarded by the National Institute of Labour Studies and attained a Higher National Diploma in Psychological Counselling from the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute. Additionally, I have undertaken a Certificate course in Advanced Multimedia in Website Designing and Development at the University of Colombo School of Computing, a certificate in NLP Practitioner at Mastermind Consultancies - India, a Diploma in Tally (Computerized Accounting) at CSS, a Diploma in English at Aquinas University College, and AAT (Intermediate) in 2014.I am at present working as the HRM at Aeon Shipping (SL), leveraging my decade-long experience in corporate HR & Administration. Furthermore, I am actively engaged in teaching English Language & IT classes, as well as conducting Soft Skills and Life Skills Training Programmes for diverse audiences.As an autodidact graphic designer, I specialize in creating graphics primarily for printed or electronic media, including brochures and advertisements. In my professional capacity as a counselor, I provide mental health assistance to individuals seeking support. I employ well- recommended techniques and therapies to address clients' issues effectively.Furthermore, I am skilled in hosting and compering events, captivating audiences with charismatic announcing abilities. My interactive and engaging content, coupled with voice modulations and gestures, consistently draw in crowds.In addition to my design and counseling work, I produce vocal-only short films, motivational quotes, and write eye-opening articles aimed at inspiring positive change in people's lives. I have also contributed my time and expertise as a founder, coordinator, secretary, and treasurer to various community projects, forums, and organizations, all aimed at benefiting the community.
