• Reflect the mission, vision and values of the Specialty Hospital• Adhere to safety and infection control policies• Provides direct, professional nursing care to a specified population (age-specified language) of patients in an inpatient or an outpatient setting• To have the skills to take care IV lines• apply peripheral line for the patients• take care of central lines• draw all kinds of blood samples• To have the skills to give and document oral and intravenous medications and observe for reactions side effects• To have the skills to deal with fluids (the time of beginning and finishing and to add any medications as ordered)• To take vital signs, record and report any abnormalities to the charge nurse• To calculate the I and O, and be sure that the V/S in the right way• Prepare for special procedures done in the unit• Document all the patients conditions, problems and the actions done in logic and scientific way• To be sure that the patient is clean, tidy and all the environment is suitable• To observe any changes in the patient condition and inform the charge nurse• Initiate good communication with the patient’s, family, colleges, doctors, head nurse and other workers• Attend workshops activities and lectures• Ask the in-charge nurse for any help or information needed• Maintains confidentiality of patient records• Respect and supports patient rights• Utilizes safety precautions when handling chemical hazards agents• Team responsibilities-demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to facilitate unit function and productivity• Performs any other duty as directed in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department
