I took part in the Management Step up programme, which consists of a series of assessments. After passing the assisgment you are then trained and placed in a managerial position. In my duration here, I learned to pass my love of customer service and it's effects on my team. I learned the benefits of motivating through rewards. This role also sharpened my administrative skills as the role required reports to be sent to the Operatational Manager on a daily, weekly and Monthly basis.

Customer Service reinforced how important customer satisfaction is for the life span of the company. In this role I learned the importance of empathy in resolving an issue. I learned the importance of effective communication. I was responsible for upselling and promoting our products to the client in the most helpful way possible. Administrative duties such as updating client information, moving a clients services to another location as well as upgrading and downgrading their packages.

In this position I learned the important of customer service in a company as a client will always remember the way that they were treated, good treatment guarantees the return of a client. My time at Truworths also taught me the importance of keeping calm under pressure especially during their peak hours
