Planned, organized, and managed human resource function with HR team of 20. Collaborated with leadership team to develop, manage, and ensure all aspects of human resources aligned with and contributed to business goals. Oversaw all aspects of talent acquisition and management, performance management, HR central services, leadership development, organizational alignment, succession planning, recruiting, HR administration, employee retention, loss prevention, and driving development of company’s culture. Interpreted and administered HR policies and practices including employee relations, labor law matters, union avoidance strategies, compensation, and benefits.The company hired more than 300 new managers to ensure that there was enough staff for both new restaurants and existing turnover. This led to a reduction in restaurant management turnover from 34% to 20% in less than two years. Additionally, several key executive management members were hired. The company implemented compensation, performance management, and ERMS (Employee Relations Management Systems) modules to leverage technology and further progress the human resource information system. They also established retention plans to reduce temporary plant labor costs from $1,000,000 to $250,000.Furthermore, the company resolved a critical public relations media crisis through direct employee relations with disgruntled employees, preventing major media campaigns against the company. They also developed and implemented the company's first succession plan for managers, directors, and officers. Finally, a comprehensive two-year people strategy was created for the Board of Directors.
