Coordinated all aspects of projects relating to implementation of hardware/software solutions for print facilities. Responsibilities included:• Customer communications - serving as focal point for communications with customers, conducting meetings, capturing requirements and issues• Project facilitation - identifying and eliminating obstacles to critical path items• Project documentation - creating solution workflows and maintaining meeting agendas/minutes, project schedules and issues lists• Team leadership - fostering a team environment, working effectively with different team members throughout entire organization.

Responsible for technical support and project management of software installations that enhance printer functionality. Specific responsibilities included:• Installing, configuring and trouble shooting software installations on UNIX systems • Consulting with customers to discuss how various products can be configured to meet their print production needs• Responding to customer calls and resolving technical issues on a daily and on-call basis • Documentation of technical processes and product implementations at customer sites

Responsible for system administration of DocuPlex, Xerox’s electronic repository of engineering drawings—an Oracle based application running on Solaris. Also responsible for maintenance of IDocs, Xerox’s web-based interface to DocuPlex, running on Windows NT • Performed Solaris and NT server installations, upgrades and patch maintenance• Created user accounts on Solaris and XVP, an Oracle database application• Interacted with customers daily to perform end-user application installations• Resolved end-user connectivity/application and NT server configuration problems• Performed routine NT server maintenance to optimize performance, such as clearing caches, disk defragmentation, and back-ups to Solaris servers

• Met with customers to gather requirements for printing customized books that detailed their customers’ individualized health insurance coverage • Facilitated the transition from the customer’s in-house solution to Xerox management of the entire print production process• Managed the design and launch of Xerox’s web-based Print on Demand application that offered customized business cards• Managed the project plan, determined critical path items, assigned action items• Lead daily meetings to outline the project team’s activities and determine the production targets on a daily basis. The project team was composed of personnel from the management, sales, technology, production and quality departments of the organization
