In the tradition of Tonalist painters, my landscapes are largely resolved from imagination and represent a modern “expressive” school of Tonalism. I conjure trees, hills, grasses, and waters that dissolve into amorphous and semi-abstract forms constituted by intense light. My paintings are frequently finished in one sitting, but occasionally a revisit is required to fully resolve the picture. There are so many painters of all schools that I love, but my primary artistic influences include George Inness, J.M.W. Turner, and Dennis Sheehan.

My job title is inclusive of several responsibilities at Argentum: advocate, PAC administrator, and lobbyist. As the Director of Advocacy:• I conceive and implement grassroots strategies. This includes strategic messaging and coordination of ALFA membership to effectively support or oppose legislative and regulatory action. This is accomplished through several channels such as arranging stakeholder meetings (ie, fly-in), social media/letter writing campaigns, and webinars.As the PAC Administrator:• Above all, I educate our members on the importance of having a well funded PAC. I also track contributions, disbursements, and file FEC reports. I create PAC reports for membership, organize fundraisers (like our annual golf tournament), and develop incentive programs to increase engagement from the association’s membership.AS a lobbyist:• I meet with federal and state officials to accomplish the association’s legislative and regulatory goals. I draft bill and regulatory reports, issue email alerts, and work with coalitions.
