Technical manager, designer and responsible for running the CNC-mill. Responsible for accuiring CAD/CAM software to be used on the Holzher 5-axis wood milling machine. Inventor and HSM was chosen, based on availability of Post Processors available. Main role is designer and product developer, giving client support in prepparing client designed models of high end loudspeakers to be built in the material Corian for serial production. Responsible for doing design for manufacture and develop process and equipment for serial production of the loudspeakers. Also responsible for project management and process development for the projecct. Making CAM files for all parts to be machined on the 5-axis CNC-mill. Also responsible for designing and building all jigs and production equipment needed, as well as building several generation of prototypes of the loudspeakers.

From Jan - 2015 transferred to the Tie-In tooling department as subsea tooling designer. Worked with Solidworks and SAP as main development tools.Part of the team to design a new portfolio of installation tools for Aker Solutions VCS 16" connection system. Main designer on one of 3 new tools developed, Inboard Cleaning tool. This tool was a new design compared to previous versions. The improvements were based on feedback from use and my field experience. Started as support engineer in the aftermarket department. Worked with video conferencing out to rigs offshore in Africa. Specialized in Tie-In (subsea connectors for oil-lines), traveled extensively in Africa working both on-shore and offshore as Aker rep during installations and flow loop fabrication. Work experience from Angola, Cameroon, Nigeria and Ghana. Projects I have field experience from includes: - Jubilee field in Ghana (VCS connectors)- USAN project Nigeria (GHO connectors)- Oyo project in Nigeria (GHO connectors)- Gimboa project in Angola (Integrated Operations)- Dalia project in Angola (Integrated Operations)Based on field experience asked to develop a training course for technicians for a connection system (VCS) developed by Aker. After it was complete also asked to present it.

At Home

I took some time off work to build on our house. Instead of hiring a carpenter I took time off work to do the building myself. This was sustained by saved up funds. Durnig this period I successfully built a 50 m2 garage and a 90 m2 apartment. We currently live in this apartment.

Norwegian tester for Microsoft Media Centre. Microsoft was releasing Media Centre in 29 countries. In preparation for this a 1 year test and adaptation program was launched. This was to ad and adapt local content, and verify functionality in each country. I was hired as the Norwegian tester, and completed the test program in Norway. After this I was hired by Microsoft in Norway locally to handle the product and be technical product responsible. This included handling the comunication with content providers as well as providing 2nd. line support for the product. I was technically responsible for the Microsoft stand at the release of Windows Vista. In 2007 Microsoft decided to shift focus away from Media Center.

Oslo

Service engineer with responsibility to provide technical support at the TV2 Oslo Office, working in rotation. Main role was day to day technical support, working in rotation as part of the team responsible for manning the technical support phone. The major part was supporting the news desk, where the production and editing of news content took place. This included problem solving and fixing unknown equipment, often with a tight deadline. Maintaining the major video and audio distribution system on a long term basis was another important part of the work. Another role was working as SNG (Sattelite News Gathering) operator, also working in rotation. Operated a portable satellite transmission system for transmitting live TV from locations with no signal distribution available. Main part of this was to provide live video transmission form major news events to be shown live in the news transmissions. This also included maintaining and servicing the equipment involved.

Worked as technical support. Simulator was to be moved to Gardermoen. Had to leave as this would be to long commute.

Oslo

Worked as audio engineer. Responsible for calibrating and servicing all audiological equipment. Also responsible for audiological testing of patients using Otto-acoustic emissions and brain stem audiometry. Employed for a 1 year temporary position.
