About Anders Bondorf
With an educational fundament in computer science (M.Sc. and Ph.D.), I have since 1994 been working in software companies that develop professional business software. I worked as a software developer for many years, and I have worked as a development manager and development director with product, project and people management responsibilities. My role as a software architect is deeply rooted in my hands-on understanding of what it takes to develop commercial software regarding technologies, tools, processes, people and skills.Software development: I focus on many aspects such as relevance and usability, robustness, extensibility, maintainability, scalability, performance, adaptability and upgradability. I believe very much in the value of good software craftsmanship: software must not only be working, it must also be well-crafted. In particular, keeping the code base concise, modular and as small as possible under the given circumstances is a key point to ensure extensibility and maintainability of the code.People management: I try to attract the most talented people and build up their talent even further. I expect people to have significant self drive, and I expect them to be responsible and reliable. I am not the kind of manager who prefers spending most of my day doing fine grained micro management of other people’s time and work. People value me as their manager. In particular, they like my open and honest style built on confidence rather than fear, and they often mention my insight into their daily work as being of high importance to them.As a person I want to “get things done”, and usually I succeed in doing it. I don’t let loose ends hang around.I am very internationally oriented and I enjoy working with colleagues from all over the world.
Listed skills include Software Development, Software Project Management, Java, Databases, and 31 others.

Udviklingschef
Technology Director
As the Technology Director of LanguageWire, my main responsibilities are solution architecture, product ownership of the LanguageWire solutions, professional management (Danish: “faglig ledelse”), and project management.I analysed LanguageWire’s product suite for translation management, and LanguageWire then decided to initiate a major platform transition project, building the translation platform for the future. We gradually developed and transitioned to the new platform. We completed the first version of the new platform in 2015. LanguageWire’s daily business runs on the platform, and the old point solutions were successfully de-supported. We released a major revision of the platform with a new, very intuitive user interface in the spring of 2017.The platform is a Web-based ERP-like SaaS solution, and it has internal LanguageWire users as well as external supplier and customer users. The highly configurable solution is role-based, localizable and based on a library of generic custom UI components developed during the project. In addition, I have been responsible for the very successful development of CMS platform connectors, which are plugins that integrate directly with LanguageWire’s platform. These connectors allow users in platforms like Sitecore and Episerver to translate their CMS content into multiple languages seamlessly, using LanguageWire as the translation supplier. The Sitecore company received the LanguageWire Sitecore connector so well that LanguageWire became – and still is – a Sitecore gold partner.LanguageWire’s offshore teams in Kiev, Ukraine, and in Gdansk, Poland, do all development (coding and testing) in close cooperation with the product ownership in Copenhagen. The development method is agile with elements from both Scrum and Kanban, and with regular releases, typically every two to four weeks.Main technologies: C#/.NET, Web UI technologiesPlatforms: Windows 7
