Strategic Sourcing Manager/Supplier Relationship ManagerEricsson Aug 2008 - Nov 2015I have been working as Corporate Program Manager/Strategic Sourcing Manager within the Radio and Core HW Sourcing organization. I worked in the Electronics group with focus on Radio Base Station end products. In this role, I have both supplier relationship and product responsibilities. From a supplier relationship management perspective (Corporate Program Manager), I had responsibilities for several suppliers where a broad and complex product portfolio were used by Ericsson, also belonging to top spend HW suppliers for Ericsson as well as technology critical for Ericsson. I had the CPM role for semiconductor suppliers like Infineon Technologies, NXP Semiconductor and Freescale Semiconductor (today part of NXP). From a product responsibility perspective, I had commercially responsibilities for our complete semiconductor portfolio, within one of Ericsson’s most critical and complex areas, RF Power Amplifiers. I also had a team leader role for our RF Power Category Team. Ericsson’s RF Power Category team is a cross functional team (design, component technology, sourcing and supply) who are working with Ericsson's strategy within that technology area. I have been working both externally, with suppliers, as well as internally, within Ericsson, in a global environment. Ericsson had design centers for radio base stations in Ottawa, Beijing, Chengdu, Gothenburg and Kista, which I have been supporting in a day to day fashion. I have also, in this role, been in very close cooperation with Ericsson’s Supply organization and the factories Ericsson had around the globe. During my 7+ years as SSM/CPM, I had responsibilities for several other semiconductor product and category areas as well as the supplier responsibilities that follow. Categories and products like Analog RF, Isolators, Circulators and Couplers. Suppliers like Hitachi Metals, SDP Telecom, MACOM, Anaren, Qorvo and Peregrine Semiconductor (Today part of Murata). -

I added Ericsson global responsibilities (GAM) in 1998. In the end of 1999 I was promoted to Regional Manager and added on responsibility for the whole Nordic region and I built up a larger team in the region. In 2000 IDT Nordic revenue peaked at almost $60M in sales and I managed 9 direct sales employees and 3 distributors.
