What is the best way to teach?How do we create the best possible school for our children?Two questions that are not easy to answer. So far it has taken me almost 20 years, and I don't know if I have fully found the answer yet😉I work with teaching and school development on several levels - primarily in the edtech industry. For many years I was part of the development of both content and features on Clio's portals in both Denmark and Sweden. After my time in Clio I went on and produced materials for other publishers (e.g. Alinea) primarily in the edtech industri. After Clio I also tried working in a school that specializes in kids with special needs. I loved those two years and learned a lot, but now I’m back in the publishing business. This time with the Danish NGO Grænseforeningen where my primary job is to make materials about the German-Danish area border (both historical and present issues).The thing that motivates me when creating different teaching materials is the idea that if we want to improve our schools we need to make sure that the possible materials are available. Having the best possible materials is also one of the reasons why I, together with my partners in Nordic Schools, have created a digital learning material - for teachers. Why not use the benefits of e.g. differentiation when it comes to teachers and the development of their competences? When I’m not making learning materials, I hold workshops, moderate various conferences/talks and facilitate teacher training days (in both Danish, English, Swedish and German if you let me know in due time😉).And then I use my many years of experience when I advise both larger and smaller companies (mostly edtech) on how to better engage and communicate with schools, teachers and students.Lets return to the two questions from the beginning: If you have an answer or an idea - then don't hesitate to connect and share it with me!
