17 years piping engineering, fabrication, construction, project and design. Supervision and coordination of Piping Engineering teams on oil & gas offshore and onshore projects including LNG. Offshore topsides, FPSO, Petrochemical process plant experience, reporting directly to Project Management. Responsible for typical team sizes between 20 and 150 personnel. Management of scope, schedules and budget plans for Conceptual, Pre-FEED, FEED and Detail Design contracts. Teams include personnel from Layout, Pipe Supports, Stress and Piping Materials/Package Engineering.Duties include staff selection, scope & schedule planning, budget management, technical direction, estimates, execution plans, multi-centre operation strategies, interface coordination, layout model presentations, technical writing of Reports, Specifications and Procedures, training and development.Attending key project decision meetings with Client and Project Management. Advising directly to Client Engineers, Operations, Commissioning and Construction personnel throughout various stages of a project. Assisting corporate with technical bids, estimating and recruitment.Overseas travel to engineering offices involved in work share arrangements, construction sites on business visits and longer-term assignments, Clients offices and experience of working offshore providing engineering support.Transferrable skills suited to Project Engineering for technical coordination, direction and planning. Front line roles in developing and maintaining good Client relationships.
