Through my many varied roles I have been involved with European domestic debit card schemes, store cards and loyalty, pre-paid card systems, retail loyalty on chip cards, card management and transaction authorisation systems, international transaction processing, brand management and Card Association Membership schemes.Initially, I started my career in retail at the COOP in Denmark before taking up a number of senior card management roles at PBS (Denmark) and Sparebanken NOR (Norway). From there I moved to Visa Europe becoming General Manager of Northern Europe, with responsibility for Visa Member relationships in Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.More recently I was active in a JV with Alliansor Caps AB in Sweden, MD of Savantor International, associated partner of PlusCON in Copenhagen, Denmark – and before that CEO of Northern Europe Processing Services (NEPS) – a joint venture between XPonCard A/S and RS/2 Service Association (based in Frankfurt, Germany) – responsible for the BankWorks Card Processing Platform in the Baltics, Poland, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway.
