At Café Luna, I learned to take responsibility for my work, both in terms of cleaning the kitchen and the quality of the food I served. Furthermore, I learned to step through and control the kitchen when it was busy, as well as welcoming and training new employees. I helped to ensure communication with the other kitchen staff as well as the servers to make the shift run smoothly. In addition to preparing the food, my responsibilities included purchasing goods, opening or closing the kitchen, self-checking of food safety, and I have been in charge of food safety inspections on several occasions.
