Responsible for IT security and risk management throughout the Inter IKEA Systems group of company. Also worked as Architecture manager with group-wide infrastructure alignment and standardization. A third important task has been to liaison with partners and franchisees of Inter IKEA Systems (primarily the IKEA Group's IT company). Member of the IT management team at Inter IKEA Systems in the Netherlands, and representing Inter IKEA at various groups and associations. Responsible for IT operations at the Inter IKEA systems facility in Sweden.

* Chief Architect Data Warehouses & BI - Sep 2005-Sep 2006Responsible for planning and coordinating a major Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence system for IKEA. IBIS was an attempt to collect global business data into a common "Single Truth" data warehouse and BI reporting. The main project objective was to replace 100's of distributed uncoordinated reporting systems with a corporate dashboard. His main task was to coordinate master data collection and alignment from the retail business.* IT Architect, Security & Integration - Dec 1999-Sep 2005Technical architect, focusing on Security and Infrastructure. My primary role was do design and lead implementation of the integration and security components of IKEA's new global retail IT system, a system build on a SOA concept using an in-house message bus and a corporate LDAP platform for IAM services. Another responsibility was to review IT projects to ensure that security requirements were in place according to the mandatory requirements set by the architecture team. * Network Manager, Europe - Jun 1995-Dec 1999System & Network manager for European Retail Organisation. Planned and implemented a switch from DECnet to TCP/IP network, including services as DNS and internet e-mail for the global IKEA organisation. Was organising and implementing the first Internet connections for IKEA and represented Europe in the global IKEA network team. I also supported the desktop team with know-how and system software when the first Managed Desktop was rolled out in the IKEA stores and warehouses. * Systems Manager, Retail operations - Jul 1992-May 1995Developed and maintained a network of VAX computers used to keep IKEA customers in 7 countries happy. Main tasks was to support country IT organisations and to liason with suppliers for contracts, software and hardware upgrades of the 50+ VAX systems. He also developed VMS system software and scripts for monitoring and capacity planning of the IKEA production servers.

Consulting within networking and OpenVMS management. Major customers and projects was TV4 (established their IT platform for programme planning) and SEB (worked as technical advisor for the trading and SEB International departments). Also conducted trainings classes in VMS for RKS customers.

Technical consultant software and hardware for Ångpanneföreningen. Developed systems software and managed the VAX/VMS environment. Supported application developers with programming know-how.

Worked as technical system developer, mainly for the swedish company Televerket (yes, before Telia), with development of VMS and RSTS software for charging and communication.
